On April 10th, the Art Now Foundation Luminex DTLA event lit up venues throughout Downtown Los Angeles with curated digital public artworks by seven vanguard digital artists. The Petroleum Building hosted one of the artists, Luciana Abait whose work focused on climate change and mysterious landscapes to explore themes of human presence and absence. Her solo shows have been exhibited at Los Angeles International Airport, Rockford College Art Museum, Mackey Gallery in Houston, Naomi Silva Gallery in Atlanta, the Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs, Grados de Arte Contemporaneo in Buenos Aires, Argentina and TaiKoo Place, Hong Kong.
