Sounds of South Park announced a second stage initiative at the Petroleum Building Lot 9 across from Staples Center and L.A. Live to expand their popular summer free concert series to more downtown residents. On June 25, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the performing band Even Us connected with local residents with melodic tunes from Fleetwood Mac and Even Us’s new original song “Empty Hands” in a 2-hour outdoor concert dotted by orchestrated patio lights, El Cholo Mexican dinners and drinks, jumbo size board games and hula hoops. El Cholo restaurant, located next door, provided a discount on food and drinks for concert attendees.
