The Petroleum Building is an 11-story office tower offering 209,434 square feet of workspace on 10 floors and retail space on the ground floor. An official Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument, the building was designed with the feeling of Florentine palaces of the early Renaissance period and overlooks the premier district in Downtown Los Angeles for sports and entertainment.

The famous El Cholo restaurant located on Western Avenue began in 1923 and, over the years, the family-owned business expanded to include several same-named eateries in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. In 2010 the owners decided to expand into the exciting South Park district of Downtown Los Angeles, home of the new Staples (now Crypto) Center and LA Live restaurants. El Cholo quickly became the iconic center for traditional Mexican cuisine in downtown. Its adobe-styled building features open truss ceilings, exposed brick walls and a beautiful dining room and patio.
